We left Ero today. We were early for the ferry so we took a little side road where we saw a nice golf course that uses an old lighthouse as its clubhouse. On the way back to town we saw a little stand with gourds, pumpkins and squash on display - prices were posted and a cup for you to put your money in. There are "stands" like this all over the island selling produce, crafts, etc. and it is all on the honor system. (There is a picture of the stand in the slide show.)

We are now in the town of Ribe which is in Jutland, Denmark. This is the part of Denmark attached to Germany and the rest of Europe. Ribe is the best-preserved medieval town in Denmark. It has many fabulous buildings. Our hotel here was built in the 1500's and has been renovated more that once - but still no elevator! It is on the town square and across from the cathedral.
